But even though change is often difficult, many times its also for the best…I was a that kind of intrusive girl who would lock herself up from her happiness just because of the fear of being judged by others.I used to find my own comfort zone very easily rather than to put myself at risk of being with a new group of people.I always felt it so impossible for me to be around with my own classmates or anyone else.Every night where I would wet my pillows with tears,I would pray for a good friend who could help me to bring me out of my own cage providing adequate support. And probably this was one of my biggest problem where i would seek help from others for everything.Things did not had any change…days were just falling as leaves from trees…
One evening, when I was done with my day’s fight, with a cup of coffee in my hand I went through my Facebook where I found a new friend request. It was not an exciting thing because I rarely accepted freind requests from Facebook. But this time, for no reason I accepted that request. After some days,I sent a “hi”message by mistake to this guy.I got a same greetings from his part.We then had random chats..then often…I was getting a feeling that I got a good friend for whom I always prayed.Later on we became close enough to chat in whatsapp and later on I invited him home.It was on a Sunday he came home with his cute little sister.I introduced him to my family and we altogether spent a memorable day along with him and his sister…
Knowing about my unecessary fear of being judged he advised me and helped me alot to come out of my own cage.He took me out to meet his friends and fellow members in his office.I really felt uneasy to be around many people.Even he noticed my discomfort of being there. But he was not ready to give my lazy comfort zone back to me.Such visits to his friends and hangouts became so often, untill he thought I could manage being around.I started to mingle with them and yeah,I was feeling ease to be with them now.I used to go out along with a friend or family members so that I dont want to go alone. But now he has ben with me as a support so much that now i am bold enough to mingle with people even unknowns and go out alone whenever needed without waiting for someone else’s time.
The most important lesson he taught me was ,being on their own alone will give perfection to an individual..unless and untill you love yourself for whom you are,you will always be afraid of other’s judgement. You could not expect others to respect you, when you yourself are not ready to respect the YOU in you…I am very happy to get a genuine friend who dares to tell my fault at my face and not back of me.This was one change that I always wished to have and now I have that change in me…Thank you soo much dear friend…
